There’s a day to celebrate everything nowadays. From National Rainbow Day to National Avocado Day. But when you live with Parkinson’s disease, there is one day that deserves to be celebrated more than any other, and that is World Parkinson’s Day.
We used the wonderful, wobbly tones of Parkinson’s hero Matt Eagles, who was diagnosed at age , to voice our radio ads and filled our social channels with stupidly crazy national days that seem, well, pointless compared to the importance of World Parkinson’s Day.
Our fun and playful tone was a breath of fresh air to the Parky community and the results were pretty positive too. We reached 184k people and grew our Parky following by 12%, meaning more people are now looking at the brighter side of Parkinson’s every single day of the year.
